Det danske CMS-firma Sitecore er godt i gang med at indtage verden. Firmaet har satset på at vokse internationalt, og den strategi giver nu pote.
Nye kunder vælter ind, mens økonomien buldrer derudaf. I dag bliver CMS’et brugt til at drive 32.000 forskellige websteder, mod en god betaling, så omsætningen er steget med over 50 procent og overskuddet med over 30 procent i forhold til forrige regnskabsår. Det oplyser Sitecore i en pressemeddelelse, hvor de nøjagtige tal for seneste regnskabsår ikke bliver offentliggjort.
I året 2009/2010 havde Sitecore et overskud på 67 millioner kroner, og med en forbedring på over 30 procent må tallet for seneste regnskabsår således være over 87 millioner kroner.
Antallet af ansatte er steget med 40 procent på et år, og der er Sitecore-ansatte ’på jorden’ i 50 lande verden over, samt tæt samarbejde med 700 partnere og 4.500 udviklere, oplyser firmaet. Alene i USA er der nu fem Sitecore-kontorer.
Blandt kunderne til det .Net-baserede CMS kan Sitecore nu tælle giganter som Nestlé, Heineken og Royal Navy.

Sitecore has continued its historic high growth in revenue and profits. The Sitecore Group revenue was up over 50 percent in its fiscal 2010/2011, compared to the prior fiscal year. Profit (EBITDA) increased by over 30 percent as Sitecore’s strong financial performance continues along with an ongoing significant investment in and strengthening of the organization. Employee headcount increased by over 40 percent.
