Test Manager, Embedded Systems

Do you have the experience it takes to develop our embedded systems testing area to the next level of efficiency? Have you worked with embedded system or software test management and development? Have you been part of establishing highly operational and efficient test setups and teams?

Then we might have just the position for you in our Embedded Systems team, at Oticon HQ in Smørum, Denmark

Ensuring efficient and timely test execution

In your new role you are responsible for planning and execution of embedded system tests aligned to product integration plans. You will be responsible for continuous development of our embedded system test setup - both in terms of automation and method development and in terms of continuously building the competencies of the team. Specifically, you have the following areas of responsibility:

Pro-active planning of Embedded System tests aligned with regular Integration Points and product program plans
Efficient test execution according to plan
Stakeholder management, escalation of test issues
Building test method competencies of the team and facilitating a test-driven design attitude
Ensuring automation of test execution and test reporting
Personnel Management of the test engineers and management of student workers in our test center

You can expect limited travel activity, primarily to our sister company in Switzerland .

Developing test strategies and people management

Your educational background is most probably a degree at M.Sc. level, e.g. within electronic engineering or computer science. Furthermore, you have several years of experience from the area of software test development and management, preferably with a focus on embedded systems. You have created excellent results in development of effective test strategies and methods and you have a proven track record in test planning and test team management.

As a person you are flexible, result oriented and structured. You posses good analytical skills and is an excellent communicator that thrives well in an environment with numerous stakeholders.
