Technical Support Engineers for our client Invensys

For our client Invensys we are looking for a technical support engineers to work in their office in Herlev.

Invensys Operations Management is a leading global technology, software and consulting business that creates and applies advanced technologies to enable the safe and efficient operation of industrial and commercial operations such as oil refineries, fossil fuel and nuclear power plants, petrochemical works and other manufacturing sites.

The position

The Technical Support Engineers will be working in the Business Division: Invensys Operation Management working with customer service.

You will be providing support to Wonderware Customers in Scandinavia as a member of the Technical Support group. The product responsibilities for this position includes supervisory of SCADA software as well as MES software; Wonderware System Platform (Industrial Application Server, Wonderware InSQL Historian, Information Server Portal, Data Acquisition Servers, Wonderware MES, Wonderware Intelligence) Clients InTouch and ActiveFactory.

Responsibilities:

• Interfacing with customers, distributors and suppliers in Scandiniavia. This interface includes responsibility for covering the phone queue during the normal Scandinavian business hours. Expected load is to manage an average caseload of 20 cases at any given time.
• Researching cases, running lab tests, and interfacing with Maintenance and Product Marketing.
• Writing knowledge objects, tech alerts or notes and host webinars.
• Presentations, product demos and product training.
• Customer site visits to solve their issues or to provide consultancy services.
• Active participation in various meetings as required.

Background

• You have a relevant experience in HMI Supervisory & SCADA Systems.
• You have some experience in Automation, as Systems Integrator, Applications Engineer or Technical Support Engineer.
• You have a strong knowledge of PLC Programming.
• You have some knowledge about Microsoft OS, Office, Programming knowledge MS .Net MS SQL Server skills - DBA, Maintenance and Reporting
• You have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Fluency in Danish or Swedish is required for this position.
