It is developed across multiple sites in Redmond and Fargo in the United States and at the Microsoft Development Center Copenhagen in Denmark. The SCM Team in Copenhagen is looking for an strong and motivated Senior Development Engineer to help drive and deliver the next set of Manufacturing related functionality.

Responsibilities:

As a Senior Software Development Engineer your tasks will include:

Function as a role model for more junior developers
Participating in architecture, design and implementation of features within the Supply Chain Management module.
Interacting with other disciplines to ensure alignment and consistency.
Engineering to delight customers, and Engineering to scale.
Using your technical influence to drive innovation and engineering standards/best practices across teams.

Qualifications:

This job requires strong technical:

Strong software design skills and extended coding experience
Demonstrated ability to meet tight deadlines and strong track record of shipping high quality code on schedule
Technical leadership skills to ensure continued technical growth of yourself and developers around you
Analytical and quality focused with passion for engineering excellence.
Passionate about solving challenging problems
BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent.

Preferred qualifications:

Business application experience -Supply Chain Management (SCM) and Manufacturing a plus
Development experience for complex multitier and distributed architecture.
