Dynamics AX - Senior Program Manager with main focus in the Order Management area

We are looking for new colleagues who will join our Order Management team and help designing, building and releasing new and enhanced trade and purchasing functionality in Dynamics AX. We have an ambitious growth plan driving numerous investments in many of our development teams. Over the coming releases we will have major investments for enhancing our trade and purchase order functionality and are looking for an experienced Senior Program Manager to help driving key feature design and development.

Your background

Through your career, you have gained an in-depth and solid understanding of one or more ERP solutions either by implementing, designing or programming ERP functionality. You understand how Business Processes and, in particular, how SCM processes works. Optimal you have worked on trade and purchase order processes and can detail what challenges companies are facing in managing and controlling complex processes within this area.

You are a driver and have strong analytical skills and, by nature, a curiosity to ‘root causes’ and ability to analyze a set of data and provide solid analysis of this data. You are able to convert marker requirement to specifications of features that can be implemented. At the same time you are able to take decisions and lead feature development from start to end of the development cycle by bringing clarity into complex tasks and handling many tasks at the same time without stalling.

Excellent Program Management, communication and cross team collaboration skills, is a prerequisite for having success in our development teams.

To be able to smoothen communication between Program Managers, Developers and Testers, you have basic coding skills. You might understand data modeling and architectural overview and are experienced with the MS stack on a technical and usage level. Working as a Senior Program Manager in Microsoft Dynamics AX Being a Senior Program Manager is a high-visibility key position in the Dynamics AX R&D team that is focused on designing and verifying product direction as well as driving product lifecycle engineering solutions that delight partners and customers.

Your main responsibilities within the Order Management team are:

Being a key driver in building Dynamics AX SCM product strategy
Partner identification and collaboration for building future features within the trade and purchase area
Gathering feature requests from other teams, Partners and Customers
Writing detailed Specifications and communicating these to stakeholders and gain acceptance for scope
Drive feature development throughout release lifecycle together with PM’s, developers, testers and affected teams
Drive and perform Customer and Partner product presentations
Being part of the team

This position will enable you to build on your core product implementation and development to drive and manage medium and long term software development projects, manage key strategic decisions around product direction and roadmap for Dynamics AX within the Trade and Purchase area.
