IT Security Specialist

An exciting opportunity to influence IT security in Nordea

As an IT Security Specialist in IT Operational Security, you will be working with security infrastructure solutions and systems, supporting the business applications. An important part of the job is to monitor security threats against Nordea and initiate proper security measures to mitigate such threats. Included in the work is also driving and participating in IT security related incident handling and computer forensics investigations.

IT Operational Security is a Nordic team with the goal to support and enable business to deliver secure and competitive solutions to Nordeas customers. An important objective for us is to be recognised internally and externally for our professional knowledge and for being a proactive and trustworthy partner regarding IT security. We also support our partners in managing risk by identifying security threats and proposing mitigation measures while always accommodating a good balance between risk, cost and business needs.

Long experience in the IT security area and strong ability to communicate with stakeholders

You have a long experience in working with security in IT platforms and IT production and infrastructure solutions. A specific focus will be on log management, mobile device security and network security. You have as part of your previous career already established a professional network within the IT security area and you are known to be an expert in your areas of interest. You are naturally interested in updating yourself on the latest security threats and trends and have already established good sources of security threat intelligence information. You are experienced in IT security incident handling and response, and when meeting stakeholders you are able to explain risks and threats and suggest cost-effective mitigation measures. You have integrity and are able to work as a team player supporting your colleagues. You always see the wider context of things and think about the total risk for the bank. You have CISSP certification or similar education in the IT security area.
