IT Project Manager

As Corporate Solution IT´s new Project Manager you will be a part of the New Business Programs department. Corporate Solution IT is a fairly new program and right now we consist of 4 employees. We are in the process of building the team and you can set your own footprint on the program. New Business Programs is a very dynamic department and you will have the option to build both your personal and professional skills. The overall purpose of Corporate Solutions IT is to develop the Corporate Solutions platform SaxoTreasurer, which is the trading platform for our corporate customers.

As our new IT Project Manager you refer to the Department Manager and will lead and manage the Corporate Solutions IT team. You will also be the project manager for all projects for Corporate Solution IT. The team is responsible for managing all projects for Corporate Solutions from end to end. A perfect opportunity to combine project and people management.

Among others you will be responsible for:

• Project management and team leadership for Corporate solutions IT
• Recruiting and building the team
• Support the business in the preparation of business requirements and talk with end users to ensure understanding and focus on benefit realization in order to improve the output of your teams work
• Ensure the IT implementation of the business requirements and support the end-to-end business value chain by working with the business owner and IT teams in Saxo Bank
• Complete delivery of IT projects from initial start-up phase to deployment and handover to support teams
• Communication, planning, quality assurance, status reporting and management of budget, dependencies, risks, issues, etc.

YOUR PROFILE

We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications:

• Strong project management skills and experience
• Experience with agile development methods (e.g. SCRUM) and with Prince 2 or other major project management models
• Experience with off-shore development in the Financial sector and/or experience with medium- to large-sized projects is preferred
• Fluency in English - both written and spoken
• Proactive and professional team player, who wants to work in a professional environment
• Self-driven and can work independently to take full ownership of deliverables and manage a team to desired goals
