IT Infrastructure Project Engineer - IT Security & Network

You will beworking in Infrastructure Development Department in Copenhagen where you will have 12 colleagues, but will also work closely together with similar departments spread across Europe in countries like Germany, France and Switzerland.
We have the global responsibility for Network services technologies within MAN Diesel and Turbo. These services are primarily built on Cisco technologies& Citrix Load balancer Infrastructure. Our tasks cover infrastructure architecture, system lifecycle management, and 3rd level/backend support.
Can you head Infrastructure Projects?
We need to increase our Project Management capabilities, so on top of your technical skills, you need to be able to head Projects. These projects can be within your core competences as well more generic Infrastructure Projects
Global infrastructure responsibility
According to your experience and competences, you will work within one or more of the following areas within the MAN Diesel and Turbo Windows Server and Network environment:
- Project management on own projects and participating as teammember in other projects.
- Installation, implementation and commissioning of systems in the cooperation with relevant applications departments.
- In depth network designs tasks, such as configuration and performance optimization.
- Network design andplanning on a conceptual level, including the areas of firewalls, switches and network load balancers.
Taking part in relevant discussion and decision forums involving infrastructure development will also be an important part of your responsibilities. Therefore, you should be able to go beyond your own area of responsibility, and in collaboration with your colleaguesview challenges and problems, from a holistic point of view.
Are you an expert on infrastructure and very good at projects?
You have a relevant Bachelor or Master level education combined with relevant Cisco certifications. You are experienced within the Cisco Management area, and you are familiar with Loglogic, Citrix, Cisco and Solarwinds products. Knowledge and use of ITIL V3 Framework is an advantage, and maybe you are also certified. You possess good architectural skills.You have proven Project Management experience, maybe even a project management certification/education.. Proficiency in English is a prerequisite and German language knowledge is an advantage.
Though you are a specialist, you are also curious and want to influence the entire infrastructure platform. You are outgoing and thrive in a close collaboration with your colleagues in the team, internal stakeholders as well as end users.

Additional Information:
Work location is in Copenhagen, but some travel activities must be expected.
