When Nokia introduced Nokia maps, you got 3 months free with a new phone purchase. Afterwards, you were supposed to pay for the service...Nokia has now changed its's mind (why?) and is now offering "turn-by-turn" GPS navigation in a large number of countreis and on 10 of its top S60 E-series and N-series phones.
